TechWood treated lumber materials are 30% stronger when compared to pressure-treated lumber, allowing for better overall performance and long-term durability.

TechWood is water soluble and non-hazardous, inhibits mold growth and minimizes VOCs while sequestering 73% of naturally occurring formaldehyde for safer indoor air quality and handling during construction.

Fire Protected

Techwood 3300 and 4400 E84 Class A fire rated and are an approved alternative to FRT lumber, providing advanced fire protection in the event of a job site fire or post-construction-related fire incident.

Mixed Use Applications

TechWood treatments can be applied to residential, prefabricated, mixed use and commercial construction—as well as outdoor usage such as sheds, decking, joists, fencing and panels.

Recyclable

Unlike most pressure-treated materials, TechWood materials are non-hazardous and can be recycled after use or post-deconstruction, allowing for safer rebuilding and handling.

2020

Inception of TechWood

Chemical Technologies Holding LLC begins development and testing of advanced pressureless lumber treatment formulas. Third-party tested and approved, the TechWood 2200, 2200EX, 3300 and 4400 formulas are introduced to the market through ALTA resulting in millions of picket fence board feet being distributed through Home Depot locations nationally.

2022

TechWood Corporate Facility Opens

TechWood opens a 16,000 sqft development and treatment facility in Fort Pierce, Florida, providing onsite lumber treatment for builders, contractors and homebuilders within both commercial and residential construction.

2023

TechWood Introduced to the Market

TechWood solutions, including TechWood 2200 and 2200EX and TechWood 3300 and 4400 are introduced to the market with presence at national industry trade shows including the NAWLA Traders Market, BCMC, SEBC and Montreal Wood Expo. 
 
 
2024

TechWood Secures First Licensed Applicator

TechWood secures its first licensed applicator of TechWood products in the Pacific Northwest, and continues that applicator expansion in 2024 and 2025 with the addition of 8 licensed applicators across the country, providing national coverage and treatment solutions for residential and commercial builders within the United States.
